Botox - side effects
Botox side effects are generally mild and transient:
- slight swelling
- injection site bruising
- redness
- light tingling
- bruising
- headache
- nausea
- vertigo
For the first botulinum treatment, it is best to inject botox sparingly. It can always be added, but it is not possible to remove it quickly. If the results of sparingly injected botulinum are not sufficient, the substance can be added at a follow-up visit. Doing so will avoid any possible aesthetic side effects.
If botulinum toxin is administered incorrectly, the side effects are mainly aesthetic, although annoying.
