Ville Männistö
Surgeon
In 2009, I earned my dentistry degree from the University of Oulu, and I completed my surgical qualifications in 2023. My journey into oral and maxillofacial surgery specialization began in 2011 at the Turku University Hospital. This specialization took me to prestigious institutions, including the Päijät-Häme Central Hospital and the Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery Unit at Helsinki University Hospital. Alongside my practical experience, I've also pursued extensive academic training, completing 5/6 of the medical coursework required for a medical degree at the University of Helsinki's Faculty of Medicine.
Alongside my work with patients, I am working on a doctoral thesis. My research deals with 3D design of the orbital fracture plate, successful positioning in fracture repair, pediatric cranial surgery and the treatment of bite physiological disorders with Botox.
I work at Päijät-Häme Central Hospital and private dental clinics as an oral and maxillofacial surgeon. I have been doing aesthetic injection treatments since 2016, and my special area of expertise includes botox treatments and various filler treatments.
