Tattoo Removal
Laser treatment breaks down the tattoo ink in the skin, after which the body gradually begins to eliminate the pigment. The treatment is suitable for many different skin types, and its effectiveness is influenced by factors such as the age of the tattoo, the ink used, and the depth of the ink; the different colors of the tattoo also affect the final result. The typical course of treatment consists of 5–10 sessions, depending on the factors mentioned above; black is the easiest color to remove. A 2–3-month interval between treatments is recommended.
Removal of liver spots
When removing melasma, the laser targets the skin’s pigment, or melanin. The laser brightens the skin by evening out tone differences and breaking down excess pigment. Melasma is an excellent candidate for laser treatment. In fact, the Hollywood Spectra device we use is FDA-approved for the treatment of melasma! During the treatment, the laser is set to a gentler setting, significantly reducing any potential discomfort. Results become visible gradually after each treatment session.
Acne and Acne Scars
The treatment of active acne and acne scars is one of the most commonly performed procedures at Hollywood Spectra. For the treatment of active acne, this device is used in a procedure called the “Hollywood peel,” in which a carbon solution applied to the skin, combined with laser energy, deeply cleanses the pores. This combination significantly reduces sebum production and decreases bacteria in the treated area. Your skin will look brighter after just one treatment!
Laser treatment for acne scars involves several sessions designed to improve and stimulate collagen production. As a result of these sessions, the skin’s texture and smoothness improve. Each session typically lasts 15–30 minutes, after which the skin may appear red and swollen. However, the skin returns to normal quickly, within 1–7 days at the latest.

How does the treatment work?
Before treatment begins, a personalized treatment plan is developed and the costs are estimated based on the scope of treatment.
For example, the Hollywood Peel treatment begins with a skin cleansing, after which a carbon solution is applied to the skin and the eyes are protected. Once the carbon solution has been applied, the skin is treated with a laser. The laser heats the carbon solution, causing it to bind with impurities. The carbon solution is removed with the laser, effectively eliminating impurities and dead skin cells. Finally, the skin is heated again with the laser to induce tissue vibration. This step stimulates the formation of elastin and collagen, which aids in the regeneration of new skin.
The Hollywood Laser Peel is painless, except for a slight sensation of warmth and tingling.
Frequently asked questions about migraines
The Hollywood Laser Peel doesn't hurt, but you may feel a slight warmth and tingling on your skin. For tattoo removal, a topical anesthetic cream is applied to minimize any discomfort. Cooling is also used during the tattoo removal process.
The duration of tattoo removal depends on whether the tattoo is in color, whether the image is black and white, and how large it is.

There is no downtime after a Hollywood Laser Peel. Your skin may be red for a few hours, and you can apply makeup the next day. Be sure to protect your skin from the sun for the next two weeks using SPF 50 sunscreen.
Blisters may form after tattoo removal. The skin may be sensitive to touch. Be sure to apply Basibact ointment to the treated area twice a day for 5–10 days.
After any treatment, you should avoid saunas, sweating, and hot showers for 24 hours. Do not apply strong active ingredients, such as retinol or vitamin C, to your skin.
The model had undergone a single Laser Peel treatment. There is a gap of about 3 weeks between the photos.
